Guest Rooms

Care Ashore has 8 en-suite guest rooms available to book - which are perfect if you or your guests need somewhere to stay. These rooms are available to ex-seafarers as respite rooms and for general bookings.
They are all double rooms with private bathrooms. Most come with showers, but one room has a full-sized bath. Should families or friends wish to stay at Care Ashore, some of the rooms can accommodate additional beds. Situated on the second floor of the Main House, many of the rooms have stunning views across the Estate. They have been recently refurbished, and are clean, spacious and welcoming.
The rooms come fully equipped with everything you need for your stay including bed linen and towels, tea and coffee-making facilities, TV, and toiletries. There is a well-stocked bar downstairs, in our Social Room which guests are welcome to use.
Prices start from £75.00 per room per night – with discounts available for longer stays.

Meals for Guests

Guests are welcome to book in for meals from our kitchen.
Breakfast on weekdays consists of toast and preserves, cereals, yoghurt, fruit and tea or coffee, with cooked breakfasts at weekends.
Main meals, with pudding, are served at lunchtime and on Sundays there is a hearty roast available.
Lighter meals are provided at tea-time during the week, with bread and butter and fresh fruit. Filled rolls are available at weekends.
Meals must be booked in advance of your stay, menu details are available on request.

Entertainment For Guests

Within the Main House Social Room are:
- Licensed Bar
- Large flatscreen TV
- Terrace seating area
- Darts board
- Table tennis table
The Main House contains many quiet areas that guests are welcome to use, including a library, comfy sofas and outside seating.
The 220 acre Estate and surrounding woods contain many footpaths for guests to explore the grounds and local area. The Japanese Water Gardens are well worth a visit too.
Guests can also use a well-stocked fishing lake for a small fee.

Springbok Social Club

The club facilities boast a small snug bar, social room, and large conservatory with a terrace area overlooking the beautiful grounds.
Events are held throughout the year, which guests are welcome to join in with.
