There are 10 hardstanding pitches, available all year round, that come with a graveled hard standing, grassed area and electrical hook-up point.
They come with free access to toilets, showers and a washing-up area.
BBQs are permitted, as long as they are raised off the ground, but campfires are not.
These pitches are bookable via the "Book a Pitch" tab to the right of this page.
Camping
There are a range of camping options available at Care Ashore - from basic grass pitches without electricity through to glamping - we can offer it all.
Guests are welcome to use the facilities in the Main House - including the Social Room, licensed bar, darts and table tennis, library, and terrace and are invited to visit the onsite "Springbok Stores" to purchase the camping essentials stocked there.
While on-site, guests are free to explore the many footpaths across the Estate, the nearby Sidney Woods, as well as the Japanese Water Gardens by the Main House.
Cooked breakfasts can be booked via our kitchen (weekends only) and a hearty Sunday Roast is also available. Please note: these must be booked and paid for prior to your stay.

This is the best campsite we have been to as yet. The estate and the facilities were all great. We walked within the estate and in the local area and made use of the on site social club / bar and the residents were so welcoming and friendly

Peaceful, well organised site with everything you could need! I stayed for one night at start of November 2024 and thankfully, although I love an outdoor shower, there was also an indoor shower within the toilet block..... Probably just a bit too chilly for an outdoor experience!
Facilities were clean and well signposted.

My son and I love coming to Springbok! It’s so peaceful and set in a lovely part of the countryside with lots of things to see. My son is a keen fisherman and so we spend most of our time relaxing and fishing by the pond. All the pitches are good hard standing pitches which you can choose which one you like best. Everyone one site is friendly and welcoming.

Big, well looked after gravel pitches with lots of space between. Well tended in a rural setting just far enough away from some busy roads and mad drivers to feel like a haven of calm.

Another lovely stay here. Definitely in my top 5 of campsites in England.
Unfortunately did not get the chance to visit the social club on this visit.
Must try harder. But a lovely walk around the Lake.

Lovely small site with the opportunity to use the residents bar in the main house. Lovely to have a chat about their maritime experiences. Was an ideal location for us to attend Guildfordians girls rugby festival

Great site that is generally quiet apart from the planes from Gatwick. Loved the shower shacks some of the best showers we have had on a campsite. Nice big pitches with plenty of space. Staff were friendly but very much generally left guests to their own devices. Loved walking around the estate as well around the gardens.
