New Development Vision

Here is the masterplan for the new apartment hub and bungalows we are hoping to build in the future. There is a desparate need to provide fit for purpose accommodation and the proposal will give us 60 apartments and 20 bungalows. Rather disappointedly the original aplication was  refused. However, we are appealing against the decision and have been given a hearing date in July 2017.

Summer Stroll

On Sunday 21st August 2016, we are holding a summer stroll from 10.00am - 12.00pm, whether you can walk 100m or 5km eberyone is welcome. We ask for a minimum donation of £2, with the profits being split with the Foundation Centre at Royal Surrey County Hospital who care for cancer patients, plus Seafarers UK one of the largest maritme charities in the UK. Tea and biscuits will be on offer, plus we will be selling used books and bits and pieces to bolster the funds.

May I welcome any reader of our blog 'View from ashore' that is aimed at providing a light hearted, but informative overview of the regular goings on at our home the Springbok Estate. As a charity providing services to a wide and diverse group of seafarers and their dependants, we have much going on to keep thier minds and bodies active. This can range from our gardening project, supervised gym sessions, bingo, social events etc.
